Throughout Matthew’s career, he has been provided with invaluable and extensive training and experience in sales. Matthew spent 18 years at Cathey’s. Starting as a vacuum salesman, he went on to become Operations Manager, then later became Vice President. The sewing and vacuum industry along with Cathey’s allowed him to learn from some of the most incredible minds in sales. Matthew has been through hundreds of hours of sales training and lectures, from the basics to special product training to in-depth sales motivation and sales psychology courses. He has been to dozens of conventions and had the privilege to meet some incredible speakers and coaches.

Matthew is fascinated by the psychology of sales. He is grateful for all the customers who have helped him refine his craft and the relationships he found along the way. Over the years, his three of my siblings found their way into the family business. Although, the plan was to be a part of Cathey’s leadership and ownership team, he was presented an opportunity in 2022 to work with his wife, Leah Crandell, who owns Desert Sunset Realty.

Matthew is excited to utilize his past experience in sales, sales training, customer service, and leadership to help real estate agents, refine their sales abilities and hone in on their craft.
